Austin planted Metro Relief in Dallas–Fort Worth in 2011 after serving in homeless outreach in New York City. His early life included hardship, the unsolved murder of his mother, and a determined path through college and ministry.
He continues to multiply mobile outreach programs while remaining hands-on with buses and friends on the street.
